The Ten Stages of Genocide by Dr. Gregory Stanton
Did you know that DENYING the GENOCIDE is one of its ten stages?
As recently published by Dr. Gregory Stanton, Genocide is a process that develops in ten stages:
1. Classification
2. Symbolization
3. Discrimination
4. Dehumanization
5. Organization
6. Polarization
7. Preparation
8. Persecution
9. Extermination
10. Denial

Listen to Urumuri Rutazima (Never-ending Flame)
Here below are Engish Lyrics of this song
Chorus: Receive Rwanda, receive the light that never ends, the light of life.
The sun goes to sleep at night, but it’s light is never extinguished
You see it rise again every morning!
The sun doesn't fear the darkness of night; it knows that, come day, it will spread its light all over the place!
This is the light, the light of remembrance, the light of life
Receive this light, open your eyes and I will do the same
We will spread peace, triumph over all that is bad and clothe ourselves with good!
Receive this light and triumph over anger and depression and shine.
Give me your hands and your heart
Receive the light, and together your children will shine.
Because without this light we lose our way and hurt one another
We are alive, we are the light
We are alive and we remember. We remember, and we spread light, the light of life.
The Rwandan spirit has never died, and today this spirit leads us into a better future.
The Rwandan spirit has never died, and today this spirit leads us into a better future.
